About the BSW Licensing Exam

The ASWB Bachelors exam is administered by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB®) and is required for bachelor-level social work licensure in most U.S. states. Effective August 3, 2026, the exam transitions to a new three-domain blueprint: Values and Ethics (35%), Assessment and Planning (33%), and Intervention and Practice (32%).
